What types of clients do you work with?
I work with adults, teenagers (ages 13+), and couples. My practice is inclusive and welcoming to people of all backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community and individuals exploring gender or identity-related concerns.
Do you offer both in-person and virtual sessions?
Yes. I offer in-person sessions at my office in Red Deer, Alberta, and secure virtual therapy for clients across Alberta. Virtual sessions are conducted using a confidential, encrypted video platform and are equally effective for most therapy needs.
What issues do you commonly help clients with?

Do you offer ADHD assessments?
Yes. I provide comprehensive ADHD assessments for teens and adults, including diagnostic interviews, standardized testing, and a formal written report with recommendations. Virtual and in-person options are available.
How do I book an appointment?
You can contact me directly through the Contact page to request a consultation or book a session. I will respond promptly to discuss your needs and available appointment times.
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
No. You do not need a referral to access therapy or ADHD assessments. However, if your insurance provider requires a referral for reimbursement, you may want to check their specific policy.
How long is each therapy session?
Most therapy sessions are 60 minutes in length. ADHD assessment sessions may vary depending on the structure of the evaluation and whether follow-up time is needed to review results.
How much do sessions cost?
Fees are set according to the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta recommended rates. Please contact me for current rates for therapy and assessment services. Many insurance plans cover registered psychologist services—you may wish to confirm with your provider.
Is everything I share in therapy confidential?
Yes. All information shared in therapy is kept strictly confidential within the limits set by Alberta privacy laws. Exceptions apply only in cases involving risk of harm to yourself or others, or as required by law (e.g., court orders or child protection concerns). Confidentiality in teen therapy is also handled with care and respect, balancing the needs of both the teen and caregivers.
Do you offer direct billing for insurance?
Yes, we offer direct billing for most major insurance providers, including Alberta Blue Cross, Green Shield, Canada Life, Desjardins, and other insurers registered with Telus Health.
Can you bill Sun Life directly?
No, Sun Life does not allow direct billing. However, you can pay for your session and submit your receipt to Sun Life for reimbursement.
Do you accept NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefits) clients?
Yes, we are happy to see clients covered by the NIHB program for First Nations and Inuit individuals.
